Hyrox

Run. Push. Pull. Finish.

Hyrox is the world's fastest-growing fitness race — 8 km of running split by 8 functional stations. We train people to finish it strong, whether this is your first race or your next PB.

What it is

8 runs. 8 stations. One clock.

Every Hyrox race runs the same script: 1 km of running, then a functional station, eight times through. Same standards worldwide. Same distances. Same weights. Which means you can train for it — and measure yourself against the whole world.

At VO2, we coach Hyrox the way the format rewards: running volume first, strict technique on the stations, and enough race simulation that the day itself feels familiar.

Each is preceded by a 1 km run. Weights shown for Open division — Pro and Doubles have their own standards.

How we coach it

A programme built for the race.

Six- to twelve-week blocks tied to your target race. Honest assessments, weekly check-ins, and the sessions that actually move the needle.

Run-first conditioning

Eight 1 km runs bracket every station. We build the engine with zone 2 work, tempo intervals, and race-pace sessions so the running is never what cracks you.

Station-specific strength

Dedicated technique and volume on sled, wall balls, sandbag lunges, and farmers carries. Learn the moves under fatigue — the way you'll actually meet them on race day.

Race simulations

Regular pieces in Hyrox order — full distance, half-distance, and sharpened sim days. We pace you, cue you, and record splits so you know exactly where the minutes hide.

The club

The Hyrox Training Club.

The people who show up, put the work in, and keep each other honest. Your next PB probably starts with meeting them.

Who it's for

First-timer or finisher — the plan adapts.

  • First Hyrox— start from where you are and build to the start line with confidence. You'll finish, and you'll know how.
  • Chasing a time — target splits per station, sharpen the weak links, race-day pacing that holds.
  • Doubles / Pro — partner handoffs, heavier-weight strength cycles, race-pace tolerance work.
